Abstract:
The present invention relates to Lipid droplet (LD) selective 3, 3' bis-Indole based small-molecule fluorescence dye probe (LipiK510) and process for preparation  thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to Lipid droplet (LD) selective 3, 3' bis-Indole based small-molecule fluorescence probe and process for  preparation having minimal steps with lesser amount of by-products such as NH3 and H2O. The synthesized fluorescence dye probe LipiK510 shows enhanced  photophysical properties with giant stokes shift and available for both one and two photon microscopies, employing wash free live or fixed cells.
