| Abstract: | An improved process for the manufacture of detergent grade zeolite from aluminosilicate gel, which comprises heating aluminosilicate gel in the temperature range of 250C to 950C to form a crystallization bath, maintaining the crystallization bath at 950C for a period ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minutes under continuous stirring, recovering the product detergent grade zeolite by filtration, washing with water till pH of filtrate is about 10, drying the product at 1100C and passing the product through 300 mesh British Standard Sieve. |
