Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing a low sodium salt of Botanic origin. The process describes the cost effective process for the preparation of low sodium salt (health salt) exclusively from vegetable sources having desired sodium chloride: potassium chloride ratio and traces of micronutrients including iodine. The product is white in color and free flowing in nature without any additives. Unlike other low sodium salts, this salt is obtained exclusively from plant source which is naturally rich in iodine and other micronutrients without fortification.
Licensing Option: License is already granted. Technology has already been Commercialized. Further license is possible.
