IPC Classification: B01J 21/00
Abstract:
Present invention deals with an improved process for the preparation of Fluid catalyst cracking catalyst by using catalytic active matrix and 60% dealuminated zeolite Y by hydrothermal treatment of NH4Y as compared to by treating NH4Y zeolite with the aq. solution of ammonium hexafluorosilicate, which creats mesoporoes up to the range of more than 150 A diameter which helps larger pores of resid fee to diffuse in to the pores of zeolite while the zeolite prepared by hexafluorosilicate method does not create larger pores in zeolite and the use of hexafluorosilicate is hazardous and is not environment friendly which is more selective and enhanced metal tolerance activity.
