| Abstract: | A process for the preparation of a colour detection test strip useful for the detection of Butter, yellow , a toxic adulerant, in edible oils which comprises impregnating by known methods a filter paper having appropriate dimensions with a solution of an organic acid selected from maleic acid, oxalic acid, tertaric acid, citric acid, and succinic acid in the concentration range of 0.43 to 5 N, removing the said strip from the solution and drying the paper at room temperature. | ||
