| Abstract: | The present invention deals with the development of light weight carbon foam from coal tar pitch as electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and thermal interface material for aerospace and aircraft systems protection. The carbon foam developed from mixing the MWCNTs in starting material in different weight fraction and also MWCNTs decorated on the carbon foam by chemical vapor deposition technique gives improved electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. | ||
