Abstract:
Septic tank sludge that has not been cleaned or remained untreated for a long period might leak bacterial and chemical pollutants into the groundwater. The present invention offers media and plant based solid liquid separation and complete treatment of separated solid and liquid content with disinfection. The solid-liquid separation of faecal sludge/septage relies on gravity, evaporation, and transpiration. This invention serves as the complete treatment option for the separated solids material and liquid effluent. This system is compact as well as detachable for ease of manoeuvring and mobility from one place to another place. The electricity requirement for the system is minimal as the mechanism of solid-liquid separation from faecal sludge/septage is based on unique media and plant arrangement. The present invention is a Nature-based treatment unit which is compact, closed, detachable & manoeuvrable along with minimal energy/electricity, capital investment and operation & maintenance requirements.
