| Abstract: | The present disclosure generally relates to synthetic heteroaromtic compounds specifically ortho substituted phenols. The invention relates to an ortho substituted phenolic compounds of formula I, formula IA or formula IB, or stereoisomer, racemate, and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a process of preparation thereof. Furthermore, the compounds being substrate/starting material are useful for preparation of various drug molecules, biologically active natural products, synthetic pharmaceuticals, alkaloid synthesis, and fragments of many biological compounds, e.g. nabilone, etoxazole, fenoprofen, embutamide, etc. |
