| Abstract: | The device (100) is disclosed having a diode laser source (102), a white light source (101), a beam combiner (103), a first integrating sphere (105a), and a first detector (107a). The beam combiner (103) is adapted to combine a white light and a laser beam to form a collimated combined beam. The collimated combined beam irradiates a surface of the sample (116) and performs a photothermal interaction with the sample (116). The first integrating sphere (105a) transmits the collimated combined beam to the sample (116). An inner surface of the first integrating sphere (105a) reflects a portion of the beam scattered by the sample (116). The first detector (107a) captures the scattered collimated combined beam coming from the inner surface. The scattered collimated combined beam is indicative of a dynamic change in the optical property in response to the photothermal interaction. | ||
