| Title: | A Halophyte-based Electroactive Wetland System for Wastewater Treatment |
| Value Proposition: | The present wastewater purification technology is made for rural areas, medium to large scale residential communities, & municipalities thereby reducing dependency on fresh water resources and achieving environment protection & water reuse targets of GOI. The treated water achieves CPCB standards for irrigation. The treated water will be used for resource recoveries through irrigation, gardening, car washing etc., thereby generating circular economy. The developed technology focuses on UN SDGs like clean water & sanitation, sustainable communities and cities, & climate action & national mission like Swachh Bharat. Such sustainable systems require low operation and maintenance. It can be customized (in MLD levels) looking into the type of feed water, volume of wastewater, land area available & installation cost |
| Summary Application: | The present invention relates to a halophyte-based electroactive wetland system designed for the treatment of wastewater such as sewage, brackish sewage, brackish wastewater, aquaculture effluent, and stormwater |
