| Abstract: | The present disclosure relates to an analyte detection device for detecting one or more analytes present in test samples. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to covalently-functionalized gold nanorod conjugates and a lateral flow assay device comprising the same for in-vitro detection of TSH levels from biological samples. The present disclosure also relates to the method of producing the lateral flow assay device comprising covalently-functionalized gold nanorod conjugates. |

| Startup Options: | Advantages and applications of the present disclosure: • Provides modified gold nanorods (GNRs), which are highly stable and sensitive for TSH detection. • TSH antibody-gold nanorods bioconjugate of 20 OD was used to prepare LFA. However, LFA also worked with 5 OD and 10 OD bioconjugates. • The concentration of capture antibody (10-2429) was varied on test line from 1-3 mg/ml at 3mg/ml we got the appropriate results. • The sample volume of 50µl for the LFA was optimized. The volume was varied from 30-50µl. |
