| Abstract: | The present invention discloses a continuous process for the direct capture of CO 2 from the atmospheric air. The present invention specifically discloses the use of phase change amine (solid-liquid) absorbents with suitable solvents, yielding efficient CO2 capture from air. This cyclic approach establishes a continuous method for capturing CO2 directly from air, characterized by significantly reduced energy demand. More particularly, the present invention provides an energy efficient method for capturing CO2 directly from air, using phase change amines, with low regeneration energy. |
