| Abstract: | The present invention relates to the production of high purity metals such as Cu, Ni, Co and Mn from purified leach liquor obtained from the processed e-wastes. This innovation relates to hydrometallurgical recovery of cobalt (Co), copper (Cu) nickel (Ni) and manganese (Mn) metals from different leach liquor of e-wastes. The leach liquor of waste PCBs and LIBs is used for the electro- winning of Cu, Ni, Co and Mn at different condition. Experiments were performed at different parameters such as current density, pH, temperature, time., etc. to optimize the conditions for electro-winning of metals from the leach liquor containing 40 to 80 g/L Cu, 50 to 60 g/L Co, 50 to 70 g/L Ni and 40 to 80 g/L Mn. The invention provides an impetus to industrial practice for recycling extracted metals, reducing waste, and non-corrosive, environmentally friendly approaches to metal extraction from the fastest growing waste stream. | ||
