| Abstract: | Disclosed herein is a proteinaceous product comprising 70-75% protein, enriched with a bio-active substance, that finds application for agricultural purpose as a nutrient for plant growth. A process for preparation of the product is also disclosed. The invention provides an option to utilize the solid wastes generated by slaughterhouse as well as leather sector to produce value added product for agro sector. It provides an option for replacing the conventionally used toxic synthetic fertilizers with safer nutrients for plant growth. |
