| Abstract: | The present invention relates to the detection of unauthorized parking of vehicles in a camera based network surveillance system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for load-balancing of dynamically connecting network cameras and subsequent detection of vehicles parked in the areas of interest of each of the connected cameras, hereafter referred to as restricted entry areas. The concept actually eliminates the need for continuous monitoring of restricted entry areas by a human, with the method to determine parking of a vehicle, or otherwise, in all the restricted areas, from running videos captured by connected cameras. The invention further relates to the actuation of an appropriate alarm and the display of the location identities designated to the said restricted entry areas wherein assertive vehicle parkings were decisioned.
