Title:

Air Conditioner Efficiency Meter: ACE Meter

Value Proposition:
  • It is a dedicated instrument designed to evaluate the window Air conditioners. The instrument is able to identify the performance indicators of Air Conditioners and can be used to determine the probable cause of deterioration.
  • It is a Low-cost handheld test/measuring instrument which can measure the identified performance indicators.
  • The instrument is able to generate a health report with a figure of merit/efficiency to indicate the current state of the unit under test.
  • The instrument supports in conserving energy, ultimately, by analyzing the performance and suggesting necessary actions at an appropriate time.
Summary Application:

The air enthalpy method is accepted as an alternate secondary test method to estimate cooling capacity by many international standards like ISO – 5151-2010 and ASHRAE/ANSI 37-2009 and same is applied in the ACE Meter by measuring Air flow rate, Dry Bulb Temperature, Humidity at both Supply and Return sides, power consumed.

The Enthalpy, specific density, etc are calculated using the Dry Bulb Temperature and Humidity values of the corresponding air delivery side by referring to the Psychometric chart that has been hooked up in the instrument.

Based on the above parameters; the performance of an air conditioner kW/Ton, EER is estimated and displayed by ACE Meter
