ALM (Present Ambient Light Monitor) – Dual Directional Ambient Luminance Monitoring System

Value Proposition:

ALM is an indigenous, first-of-its-kind dual-directional ambient luminance monitor that  measures atmospheric background light in engineering units (cd/m²) with true human-eye (photopic) response. Designed with ICAO-stipulated 6° field of view and inclination, ALM delivers precise, round-the-clock luminance data for RVR computation and environmental brightness monitoring, offering a highly economical alternative to imported systems.

Suitable for Airports (for RVR and runway operations), Heliports, Hill stations, Remote/National Observatories, Stadiums, and Low-visibility terrains requiring accurate ambient luminance measurement under all lighting conditions
