| Abstract: | An emissivity varying sheet to modify / suppress thermal infrared (TIR) signatures of an article's surface (101), comprises of a thermal insulation layer (102) secured with outer surface thereof. A base layer (103) secured to the outer surface of the thermal insulation layer (102) is provided for structural stability of the sheet. An adhesive layer (104) secured with outer surface of the base layer (103). A TIR modulating layer (105) secured with outer surface of the adhesive layer (104) is provided to modify/suppress thermal infrared (TIR) signatures of an object. |
