| Abstract: | An intermediate Cam Mechanism (ICM) assembly (100) for a two-lever Throttle Quadrant Box (TQB) (101) which comprises, an input linkage (102), a Fuel Control Unit (FCU) driving lever (103a), a specialized fork end (103c), and a Constant Speed Unit (CSU) driver lever (104a), an adjustment nut (104c) for precision adjustments. The primary function of the ICM assembly is to convert the input motion generated by a single lever within the TQB into precise angular positions for both the Fuel Control Unit (FCU) lever and the Constant Speed Unit (CSU) lever. Further enhancing the adaptability and functionality of the assembly, overall superior performance of the ICM assembly with enhanced precision, adaptability, and efficiency. Ultimately, the integration of this pioneering technology represents a significant step forward in the advancement of aircraft engine technology, contributing to the continued evolution and innovation within the aviation industry. |
