Abstract:
The present invention relates to peptides with therapeutic value for use in the treatment of bacterial infection. In short, the present invention provides peptides consisting  of an amino acid sequence capable of killing the growth of microorganisms. The peptides are 12-18 amino acids long and having two amino acids residues from the  group of W, L, K, and R. Also describes the pharmaceutical composition comprising said antimicrobial peptide and use of the same in the treatment of microbial  infections.
