| Abstract: | The present invention discloses a process of preparation of enriched active insecticidal fraction obtained from water extract during thermal extraction of coconut shell. The present invention also discloses a process of preparation of the insecticidal active emulsion base using a combination of an effective amount of active insecticidal fraction and effective emulsion base, and the developed formulations are found to be suitable for contact and fumigant-based applications. The invention demonstrated different insecticidal formulations and their efficacy was validated at different temperatures to control the herbivorous, sap-sucking insects of field crops and storage insect pests in post-harvest produce under closed environments thereof. |
