| Abstract: | The present disclosure relates to a biowaste-derived carbon and their use in energy storage applications. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to a hard carbon prepared from legumes of trees in the family of royal poinciana (Gulmohar) for use as electrode in energy storage devices. The present disclosure also relates to a method of preparing the hard carbon from Gulmohar by a single-step process. |
