Building Energy Management System (BEMS)

IoT enabled BEMS is to monitor and control the entire building in terms of security, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) status, and energy consumption for effective energy management. Many physical parameters constrained to the building such as temperature, humidity, occupancy & door/window status, etc. are monitored and necessary control operations are implemented. The system integrated intelligent logic to control the individual loads such as ON/OFF as per the standards/requirements. The developed system has three components viz. environmental node to monitor the environmental parameters, energy node to monitor the electrical parameters, and control node to control the individual loads through Wi-Fi. The developed system is plug-and-play and retrofitting modules.

• Monitors the room temperature to take necessary actions on controlling the air conditioners for maintaining the human comfort level in the building.
• Online monitoring through a web-enabled user interface and user-friendly dashboard.
• Scheduled report generation and timely alerts to the user.
• Users can add/remove loads to the BEMS system through GUI.
