| Abstract: | Solar radiation accounts for 5% of UV and 43% of visible light radiation which has not yet been 5 exploited. So, the development of visible light driven photocatalyst has become one of the most challenging topics today which can address the problems of recombination of charge carriers during light illumination and the problems of electron transport to the substrate in experimental point of view and practically it can resolve the energy and environmental problems. So, we have developed a process for synthesis of carbon quantum dot MgAl/LDH composite which was tested towards 10 adsorptive photodegradation of textile dyes. It is well observed from the Tables, the cationic, anionic, reactive, mixed dyes and industrial VAT dyes can be efficiently photomineralised in minimum possible time under visible light illumination. | ||
