Abstract:
The present invention relates to CO2 selective hollow fiber membrane comprising of top layer of hybrid poly(methyl)siloxane and bottom polymeric hollow fiber  membrane and its method of preparation thereof. The composite hollow fibers have outer diameter of 500 ? 2000 ?m, inner diameter of 200m-1500m; the wall  thickness 100m-300m exhibited CO2 flux in the rage of 50-240 GPU at 10-100 kPa pressure. The sample of optimal MOF content exhibited the maximum ideal  selectivity CO2/N2~249 and CO2/CH4~199 at low pressure of 10 kPa whereas the sample of optimal Chabazite content showed no measurable flow of N2 but CO2  flux of 40-145 GPU at low pressure 10-50 kPa.
