The present invention relates to a pesticidal composition comprising phytochemical(s), optionally combined with pesticidal  compound/agent and an agrochemically acceptable excipients or vehicle, and a process for the preparation thereof. The present  invention provides a pesticidal composition, which results in enhanced insecticidal efficacy, lower effective doses, multi-target pest  control and decreases the possibility of developing the resistance in insects.
