Community Level Fluoride, Arsenic, Iron Removal (FAIR) Plant

Value Proposition:

Fluoride, Arsenic, Iron contamination in ground water and related health hazards are more disastrous than any other natural calamity throughout the world in the last two decades. Removal of fluoride, arsenic, iron from drinking water is of utmost importance for the improvement of lives in rural India. Keeping this, community level fluoride, arsenic, iron removal (FAIR) plant has been developed where R&D modified multifunctional absorbent materials are used.

Summary Application:
  • Water storage capacity: ~1200 L
  •  Flowrate: ~450 L/hr
  •  Cartridges : 4 Nos (replaceable)
  •  Cartridges comprised of sand, gravels along with R&D modified multifunctional adsorbent materials
  •  Purification: 2 stages
  •  Electricity Consumption: Power free (Gravitational Based)
  •  Back washable & Adsorbent lifetime: ~6 months
  •  Cost of treated water: ~4 paisa/L
  • Application: Environmental (Clean Tech.) - Water treatment.
