Abstract:
The present invention relates to a field of recycling and waste management. Specifically, the present invention relates to a process of recovery/extracting of essential metal and non-metal components from waste or spent batteries, the recovery is done using all or whole parts of said waste batteries. Specifically, the invention relates to recovery/extracting of essential metal and non-metal components from waste or spent batteries comprising multiple steps of aqua leaching, evaporative crystallization, and treating with different solvent(s)/solution(s), acids and/or bases, to obtain essential metal and non-metal components.
