| Title: | Conductive Cement Composite as Embedded Sensor for Dual Sensing of Static and Dynamic Response Monitoring in Structure |
| Value Proposition: | NA |
| Summary Application: |
|
| Advantages: | The developed CNC sensors have very high potential for their use as embedded sensors. It paves the new path for using the CNC sensors for dual strain- and vibration-based continuous health monitoring and assessment of structures. The large concrete structures (specially critical structures susceptible to mechanical and environmental degradation) will be easy monitored using these sensors where the sensors can be embedded in the structure for long term monitoring. Due to effectiveness, nominal cost and robustness, the sensors will be a game-changer in the domain of health monitoring of civil (prestressed and reinforced concrete) structures. |
