Coral Reef Monitoring Robot (C-Bot)

Value Proposition:

The hydrodynamic design with flat fish structure of C-Bot provides the user a flexibility in the payload choice and stability for seabed photography and inspection. With onboard smart algorithms it can closely follow the sea bottom and can replace human diver for coral reef monitoring and seabed inspection. 

Summary Application:

Fully autonomous with preprogrammed mission, Multiple applications of C-Bot are possible, which includes 1) seabed photography, 2) underwater pipeline inspections 3) harbour/island surveillance, 4) satellite validation and calibration, 5) coastal/ocean research, and 6) Fresh water dam inspection and water quality studies.
