Summary Application:

Specific applications of geocells made from plastic waste obtained from municipal solid waste include: Ground improvement, Construction of granular layers in roads, as outlined in IRC SP 059: Guidelines for the Use of Geosynthetics in Road Pavements and Associated Works, Slope protection, Subgrade enhancement, Catchment areas for storing industrial waste, Construction of Low Volume Roads etc.
