| Abstract: | The present disclosure relates to a dibenzhydryl substituted napthoxy imine ligated metal catalyst compound of formula (I) and their use in alkene (co)polymerization and oligomerization. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing the dibenzhydryl substituted napthoxy imine ligated metal catalyst compound of formula (I) and to a process of polymerization of alkene using the catalyst compound of formula (I). The present invention is able to provide a novel metal catalyst compounds that reduces chain transfer and increase the activity in alkene polymerization and oligomerization reactions. Formula (I) |
