Value Proposition:

Almost 143 districts in India have been affecting by Fluoride contamination. Removal of fluoride from drinking water is of utmost importance for the improvement of lives in rural India.

  • Domestic type adsorption based multi-stage water filtration unit
  • Effective for the removal of fluoride from water and microbial organisms
  • Comprised of AA+FIA+SIAC adsorbents
  • Effective reduction of F- concentration from ~ 5 ppm to below permissible limit (~1.5 ppm)
  • No electricity
  • Flow rate: ~ 5-6 L / hour
  • Adsorbent life (average): ~2000 L
  • Storage capacity: ~15 L
  • Adsorbent replacement cost : Rs.600/-
  • Application: Environmental (Clean Tech.) - Water treatment.
  • Technology has been transferred to one Indian Industry in non-excl.basis

Provides fluoride free water to the masses. Filtration of fluoride contaminated water for drinking purpose is used.
