| Abstract: | The present invention generally relates to transition metal(s) (mono and bimetallic) catalysts supported on crystalline silica. Specifically, the present invention relates to the process for production of crystalline silica from fumed/amorphous silica using non-noble or transition metal Fe at lower temperatures. The method of present invention is cost effective, eco-friendly and more industrially feasible than already known methods. It is useful in production of CO by CO2 hydrogenation reaction with 100% selectivity. |
