Title:

Garlic Powder

Value Proposition:

Garlic powder is a dehydrated and finely ground form of garlic used as a convenient flavoring ingredient in food processing. It retains the characteristic aroma and taste of fresh garlic while offering longer shelf life and easier handling. Rich in sulfur compounds such as allicin, garlic powder also provides health benefits including antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, making it valuable for both culinary and functional food applications.

Summary Application:

Garlic powder is produced by cleaning, peeling, slicing, and dehydrating fresh garlic cloves, followed by grinding into a fine powder. The product is widely used in spice blends, seasoning mixes, sauces, soups, snacks, pickles, and RTE foods. Due to its strong flavor and convenience, garlic powder is extensively used in the food processing and seasoning industry as a substitute for fresh garlic.

Advantages:

Garlic powder offers longer shelf life, easy storage, and convenient use compared with fresh garlic. It provides uniform flavor distribution in food products and reduces preparation time during cooking and processing. The powder form is lightweight and easy to transport, making it suitable for industrial applications. Additionally, garlic powder retains many bioactive compounds that contribute to antimicrobial and health-promoting properties.
