Title:

Graphene Coating on Polymer Granules and 3D Printable Filament Fabrication by Melt Extrusion

Value Proposition:

In this technology graphene was synthesised by a combination of thermal exfoliation and ultra-sonication. This technology also permits flexibility in producing composition as per user demand.

Summary Application:

The primary application of these filaments is in the FDM based 3D printing sector, where they potentially replace currently available polymer filaments. They have a wide range of application including bio-medical, automotive and aerospace

Advantages:

The synthesised graphene is coated onto the surface of polymer granules. 3D Process Melt extrusion technique is utilised to develop in-house fabricated filaments of neat PLA, neat ABS and graphene- based PLA.
