| Abstract: | The present invention relates to Graphene Oxide-MXene nanocomposite material and the process for preparation thereof. More particularly, the present invention describes Graphene Oxide-MXene composite and process for preparation by simple chemical method and potential uses for hydrogen storage technologies. The developed Graphene Oxide-MXene nanocomposite material demonstrates exceptional features, including a room temperature (25?5?C) uptake of gravimetric hydrogen up to 5.08 wt.% under normal pressure GO-Ti3C2Tx MXene nanocomposite material has a huge potential to attain the targets set by the US DOE for gravimetric hydrogen storage. Further, the present invention provides a potential solution to current research challenges and paves the way for future advancements in solid-state materials-based fuel cell devices and technologies. |
