Title:

Heliborne Geophysical Investigations For Exploration of Water And Minerals

Value Proposition:

This is a survey technique using suitable helicopter fitted with a multisensory system onboard should have the following configuration.

  1. Time-domain Electromagnetic system (VTEM system at 10Hz sampling rate with dB/dt and B-field measurements for Z-components (verticle). The Peak Dipole moment of the transmitter should be >or equal to 4,00,000 (NIA) and the receiver should have sufficient time gates.
  2. High sensitivity alkali vapor magnetometer with 0.001 nT resolution, at 10Hz sampling rate.
  3. A DGPS navigation system real-time with an accurate pilot guidance system that shall record at least four decimal places of a minute with a sampling rate of 5 Hz or More.
  4. A Multichannel Gamma Ray spectormeter comprising of total of 16.8 liters of Nal (to) downdord looking detector and 4.2 liters of Nal (Ti) upward looking detector with a sampling rate to 1Hz.

A PC based data acquisition system

A radar altimeter.

A barometer altimertr and temperature sensors

Ground support equipment, field workstation ad data processing software, Two memories-based base station magnetometer with the sampling rate of 2 Hz or more.

New areas of application viz., Infrastructure projects, aquifer mapping, smart city planning and mineral exploration other than radioactive minerals were explored and discussions were held with the clients to design future projects around these applications.

Summary Application:

Heliborne Geophysical Investigations for exploration of Water and Minerals. The beneficiaries are in general mineral sector-specific to Atomic mineral exploration agencies as well ground water exploration agencies

Advantages:

Grate coverage when compared to manual surveys, accuracy, and high-resolution data sets.
