Herbal Supplement Useful For Reproductive Health in Men

A polyherbal formulation has been developed based on Indigenous traditional knowledge and the ingredients are easily available in natural locations.

The developed formulation contains five ingredients and is effective in improving stamina, vigour, vitality and potency in males. Additionally, it has potential to increase libido and performance. In-vitro activity showed the significant inhibition of aromatase enzyme (responsible for conversion of testosterone to estrogen), thereby maintaining the level of testosterone and will lead to enhanced vitality and vigour in males.

In-vivo studies suggested significant increase in testosterone level after treatment in mice. Serum Testosterone levels were estimated at the end of 28 days of formulation administration to gain the effect of NBRI-ED-T herbal formulation on reproductive health of healthy animals. It was found that NBRI-ED-T was able to increase testosterone levels significantly at 10 mg/kg body weight, 100 mg/kg body weight, and 1000 mg/kg body weight dosage.

Safety and toxicity studies (short term and long-term studies) revealed no adverse effects. Biomarker based quality control of ingredients and developed formulation has been established by RP-HPLC.
