| Abstract: | The present invention relates to reversible and recyclable epoxy-based imine vitrimer materials /composites for carbon fiber recovery. The present invention also relates to a method of synthesis of the epoxy-based imine vitrimers materials/composites including hardening or curing agents obtained from aldehydes and amines. The vitrimer materials/composites of the present invention are useful in coating or wrapping H2 cylinders, wind mill blades, super car components, competitive sports equipment, carcinogenic liquid storage and aircraft parts. |
