HINDMET: High induction Nanostructure Ferromagnetic Metallic Ribbons

Value Proposition:

To manufacture High induction Nanostructure Ferromagnetic Metallic Ribbons by melt spinning technique.

Summary Application:

The ribbons can be successfully used for core materials for high frequency power transformers and space power systems which encounters high temperature during operation.

Advantages:
  • FeCoSiBNb nanostructured alloy system is prepared by melt spinning technique in the form of ribbons with Curie temperature >1000K and saturation Induction ~ 1.75T.
  • Ribbon thickness ~ 25-35 micron.
  • No hazardous gas is emitted
