| Abstract: | A method and system for detection, isolation from resonance-based injection attack on MEMS inertial sensor comprising power supply unit (1), signal generator (2) , amplifier (3), ribbon acoustic wave generator (4), multi-inertial sensor platform (5), Processing unit (6), IMU 1 (7), IMU 2 (8), IMU 3 (9). The method includes the fusion of multiple IMUs with sensors in different natural frequency ranges, applying statistical change point detection to detect sensors under attack, and isolating it from the MIMU for reliable navigation output. The change point detection based on the Mann-Whitney two-sample test is used to detect the attack in an IMU while the other IMUs are behaving appropriately. This approach enhances the security and reliability of MEMS-based inertial sensors and helps safeguard against any resonance- based attack. Further, the present invention reduces the manufacturing overhaul and other associated system complexities. |
