Moringa Chikki

 

Value Proposition:

Chikki is a ready to eat traditional sweet snack consumed by all sections of population in India. The product can be utilized under the label ready to eat sweet snack or enriched snacks and supplied to school children or any other specific target group as a ready to eat food and a concentrated source of energy and protein, as it is very popular. Moringa chikki is made from natural sources without any preservatives. The product is a greenish Bar due to addition debittered Moringa leaf powder, wheat germ, black sesame an­d dehulled sunflower seeds with jaggery.

Summary Application:

This Ready to eat Chikki helps protect against oxidants. Moringa chikki with natural phyto-nutrients, vitamins, minerals, contribute to antioxidant activity and with other nutrients, amino acids and fatty acids in this product, help maintain good immune function year round.

Advantages:

Moringa chikki has an ORAC of 616 umole TE and a TEAC value of 50mg. Each serving is an excellent source of Vitamin E, βeta carotene, Thiamine & Niacin. The product suppresses nitric oxide generation  and IL-6 activity in RAW macrophages. It also rescues them from H2O2 induced cell death
