Noise Absorptive Barrier 

Value Proposition:

The problem of sound in buildings and residential area through Metro, Railways, Highways, and Airports is growing nowadays.  Noise barriers are the most effective method of the mitigating roadway, railway, metro, airport, and industrial noise sources – other than cessation of the source activity or use of source controls.  The use of high-performance noise barriers is a growing requirement. CSIR-NPL has created a noise barrier that is easy to install, cost-effective to retrofit to existing facilities and reduces the noise substantially. Noise absorbing panels best meet these complex noise-control needs because it is absorbed rather than reflected into another area.

Summary Application:

Used for roadway, railway, metro, airport, and industrial noise.

Advantages:

Low cost, Lightweight, dry construction, high sound transmission class (STC) (> 35) rating panel, easy to commission, overall safety and energy conserving.
