Abstract:
Toll-like receptor2 (TLR2) is known to detect a wide variety of PAMPs from a large diversity of pathogens due to its capability to identify ligands as a heterodimer  with either TLR1 or TLR6. TLR family represents a highly attractive target for the development of novel immunomodulators to treat infections, inflammatory diseases,  and cancer treatments. Herein, thiazolidine analogues of Pam3CSK4 encompassing different L-amino acid residues at the C-terminus of the peptide moiety are designed  with a view to evaluate their possible TLR2 agonistic activity.
