| Abstract: | The present invention relates to a hybrid energy system and process of preparation thereof to generate hydrogen and electricity simultaneously, which is cost effective. The present invention provides an iron-doped hollow carbon nanorod (FeHCNR) by utilizing polydopamine (PDA), as a potential bifunctional catalyst for empowering both HER and 0 ORR. The present invention further provides method of preparation of FeHCNR and use thereof in hybrid battery system for simultaneous generation of electricity and hydrogen. |
