Title:

Precast Lightweight Panels for Mass Housing - Upgraded with Efficient Jointing System

Value Proposition:

Due to increasing population and migration from rural to urban areas, future cities of India will require smart real estate for urban infrastructure development. Government of India have the Nobel motive for deliver a high quality dwelling units to every one of Indians in at shorter duration. This high demand can be fulfilled only with precast construction which can ensure the quality, fast, durable and energy efficient building constructions. CSIR-SERC has developed precast lightweight walls and roofs for the housing construction. To achieve a speedy construction, the connection and joints are playing vital role in transferring the loads and also leak proof. CSIR-SERC has conducted numerous experimental and numerical investigations. To attract more MSME, entrepreneurs and precast industries, A lateral load test is conducted on G+1 and G+3 full scale structures and proved its advantageous.

The developed technology has huge application in construction industry for developing high quality dwelling units.
