| Summary Application: | The formulation is effective against imiquimod induced psoriasis in mice. The present lead is a non-steroidal drug with plant origin and is effective topically at the conc. of 2% in cream formulation.The phytomolecules combination has a strong anti-psoriatic action against imiquimode induced psoriasis. Combining anti-psoriatic effect of the phytomolecules along with emollient effect of cream is proved to be a good approach in the management of psoriasis. This formulation is effective in psoriasis like skin inflammation by alleviating PASI score and the level of psoriasis specific cytokines along with common inflammatory cytokines. |
