| Abstract: | The present invention described herein relates to compounds with general structure I in free form or in acceptable salt form to identify small molecule activator of PPAR?, for augmentation the effect or function of anti-oxidant response of proteotoxic cell death in fatty liver disease and also process for preparation thereof. The invention relates to small molecules where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are as defined in the description, capable of activating PPAR? and consequent downstream anti-oxidant response genes in ameliorating cellular damage by reducing ROS production in fatty liver disease. |
