| Abstract: | The present invention relates to a hybrid pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole-pyrazolones and analogous compounds of formula 3; and a process for the preparation thereof. The invention further relates to identification of bioactivities of synthesized novel hybrid pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole-pyrazolones. The novel hybrid pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole- pyrazolones of Formula 3 displayed useful neuroprotective property and inhibited acetylcholine esterase enzyme at the lowest concentration. These compounds were also found to cross the Blood-Brain Barrier. |
